Who won the IFA Countryside Photo Competition for 2023?
The winner of the IFA Countryside 2023 Photo Competition; Exploring the Countryside was Tom Scally with his image ‘Puffection’.
“The photo was taken on the Saltee Islands just off the southern coast of Wexford in late May. Parts of the island where the Puffins were was covered in a carpet of pink flowers in full bloom. This little fellow was standing watch on the side of a cliff overlooking the sea on a very hot sunny day. It was such a magical little place.”
