We are proud to introduce Brian Rushe, our esteemed Chairman at IFA Countryside. Hailing from the beautiful county of Kildare, Brian is not only a dedicated dairy farmer but also a renowned Nuffield Scholar with a deep understanding of rural affairs.
With four years of exceptional leadership as Chairman and his current position as Deputy President of IFA, Brian brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organisation. His tireless commitment to serving the needs of our members and advocating for the rural community is unmatched.
Brian’s negotiation skills and policy acumen have proven invaluable in his role as Chairman. Through his strategic and diplomatic approach, he has successfully navigated complex issues and played a pivotal role in shaping policies that benefit our members and the wider farming community.
Being a dairy farmer himself, Brian understands firsthand the importance of fostering strong relationships between gun clubs and landowners. Recognising the vital role gun clubs play in vermin control and livestock protection, he works diligently to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between farmers and hunting enthusiasts.
Aside from his extensive involvement in the agricultural sector, Brian is a strong advocate for rural communities and understands the challenges they face. He believes in empowering farmers and rural dwellers by providing them with the necessary support, resources, and opportunities for growth and development.
With his unwavering dedication, astute leadership, and genuine concern for the welfare of our members, Brian Rushe continues to drive positive change within IFA Countryside and the broader farming community.
